| Description | Hi Kerwin Many Smart3 STBs have been deployed in the field. And the test_and_set_bit+0x18/0x40 kernel panic is observed at the highest frequency in the collected ramoops. <confluence page is below> , confluence.png https://confluence.skbroadband.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=298105995 This kernel panic is common in INTEK/INNOPIA/FXN Smart3 models. I'm looking for the cause, but I have no idea. And this issue was not observed even when ALT did stability test with 12 Smart3 STBs. (The stability test has been performed for over a year, but not once was observed.) Hi YK, From the call stack, it should be something from from caller (maybe aml_alloc_contig_migrate_range()), not in test_and_set_bit API. 'test_and_set_bit' is not changed since 2015 in kernel 4.9. And 'aml_alloc_contig_migrate_range()' is AML's private function, not public in common kernel tree. So I can't find related patch for it. Thank you ! |
